The escape room, an unforgettable experience for young and old, friends and families alike, was opened in 2020 in one of the most beautiful, newly renovated rooms of the castle.
The idea and story of the escape room was created by members of the Escape from the Castle initiative.
The primary aim of the Escape from the Castle initiative is to rethink the function of castles. Through the experiential nature of the Escape Rooms, a wider audience can be engaged with castles and monuments. The first escape room was set up in the Urmánczy Castle in Toplița.
At the Degenfeld manor in Cuci, you can take part in a crime investigation. Members of fictitious noble families meet at a dinner party, and the teams are challenged to uncover the truth. To do this, participants must use their creativity, logic, observation and problem-solving skills, no prior knowledge is required.
